What is a Nedbank ID?
A Nedbank ID is a combination of a username and password that gives you access to all Nedbank digital services. You can use it to log in to any online banking, money management or lifestyle service offered by Nedbank.
Why do I have to create a Nedbank ID?
A Nedbank ID will help you manage all the activity on your accounts from one place. It enables secure login across your Nedbank platforms by linking your profiles to a single sign-on. If you are already using Nedbank digital services, Nedbank ID will soon replace all other login credentials that you may have.

What if I forget my username and password?
To update your username or password simply open your Money app or Online Banking page and select ’Forgot details’.
What can I do if my Nedbank ID is compromised?
If you suspect that someone has accessed your Nedbank ID, follow these steps:
1. Open your Money app and select 'More' at the bottom of your screen.
2. Go to 'Login and security'.
3. Select 'Nedbank ID' to change your password.
Alternatively, you can log in to your Online Banking and select 'Settings' > 'Profile settings' to update your Nedbank ID.
Can I still register for online banking if my profile is locked?
Unfortunately, to gain access you'll need to visit your nearest Nedbank branch.
What if my Nedbank ID is locked?
You can unlock your Nedbank ID by resetting your password and relinking your banking details using your card and ATM PIN (app only) or profile number, PIN and password (Online Banking).
