Nedbank Insurance’s Personal Loan Credit Protection Plan not only covers the minimum set of benefits, death, disability and unemployment (including an inability to earn an income), but also has more generous terms and conditions, making it easier to claim for a benefit under your policy.
We will not be able to process your claim if you do not email the following required documentation to us:
Life Insurance (Death)
- A copy of the death certificate.
- A copy of the deceased’s valid identity card or document.
- A claimant statement completed by a family member.
Comprehensive disability
- A disability claim form.
- A copy of your valid identity card or document.
- A confidential medical report by a medical practitioner.
- A diagnosis from a registered medical practitioner where the claim is supported, if appropriate, by acceptable clinical, radiological, histological and laboratory evidence.
Retrenchment
- A copy of your letter of retrenchment from your employer, stating the reasons for your retrenchment.
- A copy of your valid identity card or document.
- A retrenchment claim form.
Full loss of income
- A letter from your employer stating the actions that were taken and the reasons for the actions.
- Salary slips of the two months before you were unable to earn an income and the salary slip of the month where your income has stopped for a specified period as a result of not being able to work.
- Three months' bank statements showing the salary deposits and how they have been affected.
