Banking on the go has become very popular, especially with advances in smartphone technology. It's now easier than ever to bank without going to a physical branch or having access to a computer, thanks to offerings like the Nedbank Money app – a secure and convenient way to manage your money wherever you are.
Here are some tips on how to use the different features the Money app has to offer.
Transfer, buy or pay
Once you've logged in, you'll find yourself on the landing page where you can choose whether you want to make a payment, do a transfer from one account to another or buy airtime. It's so easy – just tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen.
Transfer money
Do immediate transfers between your Nedbank accounts by selecting 'Transfer' after tapping the plus icon at the bottom of the screen. Choose the amount you want to transfer, the 'from' and 'to' account, select the date on which the transfer should be done, and tap 'Next'.
Buy
The Nedbank Money app makes it easy and convenient for you to buy prepaids such as airtime, data, electricity, as well as LOTTO tickets. Simply tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen and select 'Buy'. Choose what you want to buy and follow the easy instructions.
Virtual assistant
HeyNed is a virtual assistant that's available on the Money app for R99 a month. This service helps you to get the best deals on accommodation, flights, repairs, licence renewal and much more. Simply log in to the Nedbank Money app, tap on the chat icon in the top-right corner, select 'Chat to a HeyNed lifestyle assistant' and create the task you want HeyNed to assist you with.
