Our capabilities and service proposition
The team has specialised capabilities and experience to develop an integrated funding plan and tailor debt packages to suit clients’ total funding requirements while also addressing the unique risks of specific project requirements. Our service includes debt structuring and arranging, limited-recourse finance, debt supported by export credit agencies and debt capital markets funding solutions.
The service proposition includes:
- Working with the client to develop and pursue a combination of the most appropriate financing structures and channels. This includes an analysis of the core business drivers and risks, determining the optimal debt-equity ratio, preparing a base case financial model and doing debt capacity calculations.
- Sourcing attractive funding proposals. To source the most beneficial proposals Nedbank will draw on its experience to help the client refine information, present to potential financiers, formulate a beneficial indicative term sheet and solicit proposals from various funding institutions.
- Independently evaluating all financing options and assisting the client with the selection process.
- Giving advice to enhance the closing process. Advisory services are provided during negotiations, including assisting with appointing and instructing legal advisers, reviewing draft agreements, controlling the funding timetable and assisting clients to meet the conditions of drawdowns.
